Caminata is walking routes for cities. Pick a route, download it whole and set off: the story plays in your headphones, the tasks wait for you on the spot. No signal needed along the way.

How it works

    Choose a route

    The catalogue shows what's nearby — your city is detected automatically, and you can switch to any other.

  2. 02

    Buy it in your language

    You pick the language before paying, and the whole route arrives in it.

  3. 03

    Download before you leave

    Texts, points and images are saved to the phone in full. From then on you need no connection.

  4. 04

    Walk

    Every point brings a story, and quests bring a task as well. At the end the route comes together as one picture.

What's inside

Two formats

A quest with tasks at each point — or an audio guide, where you simply walk and listen.

Eight languages

English, Español, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Català, Русский, 中文. The creator writes in one of them; the rest are machine translation.

Works offline

A downloaded route depends on neither roaming nor the signal in old-town alleyways.

Written by locals

The route and the story are written by someone who knows the city. The narration is a synthetic voice and the illustrations are AI-generated.

What it looks like

  • The app catalogue: the current city at the top, a list of walking routes below.
  • A route card: the cover photo, the format and length of the walk, and the area on a map.
  • Walking a route: the map shows the next point and how far away it still is.

For creators

Know your city? Build a route.

The creator panel is already live. You write the points and the story — the platform takes care of the rest.

  • Write in your own language. Translating into the other seven is our job — machine translation, with nothing asked of you.
  • The platform draws the illustrations itself — there is nothing to upload.
  • Every route is reviewed before it goes on sale.
  • Of the amount the platform receives for a sale — already net of taxes and Apple's commission — 65% is yours. Earnings show up a day or two after the sale; withdrawal is from €50 through Stripe, once Apple has settled the period.
